How to manage your mind:

  • Think Positive

    One of the most important things that you must do in order to manage your stress is think positively because if you do not you will never get on in anything!

  • Drink plenty of water

    In order for your entire body to stay de-stressed and healthy you must constantly drink water. Water is known to refresh the mind and help the body to keep functioning properly.

  • Write in a journal or diary

    By writing all your thoughts and feelings down on paper this will help you get everything off your mind and also allow you to work through the situation or problem that is causing you stress.

  • Talk to a friend or a family member

    Try not to cope yourself and bottle things up. talk to a close friend or family member who will give you words of advice and make the world of difference.

  • Meditation

    Try to meditate for at least 12 minutes as this will calm down the part of the brain that experiences the outside world. To do this sit on the floor up against a wall, perhaps with a pillow for support and with your legs crossed. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing.

  • Before you go to bed

    Before you go to bed try to do one of the following have a bath, go for a short walk, plan a trip away, have a glass of wine, read a book or even watch a funny TV program that will make you laugh. Laughter is a great way to conquer your stress.

  • Organize your time

    Make sure that you know hat has to be done for the moth a write down in your diary what you will do each say to achieve your goals. You will feel much better when you break tasks down and accomplish your goals each day.

  • Delegate

    It is a good idea to delegate things that you need to do to people you trust. For example, finishing off some paperwork or picking the children up from school.
