Causes of Stress
The causes of stress can be varied. The stress you experience could be linked to a number of things such as your family, the environment you live or work in, your own negativity or irresponsibility.
However, the major causes of stress can be divided up into 3 categories listed below:
Conflicts
Sometimes people get stressed because you have to decide between two conflicting options. For example, you may need to make a decision between furthering your career or spending more time with your family.
Frustrations
You may experience external or internal frustrations that prevent you from reaching your goals. External frustrations could be the death of a loved one or divorce for example and internal frustrations could be negative thinking of yourself, self criticism or self analyzing.
Pressures
Sometimes people get stressed because they get pressure put on them from others or themselves.
